On April 5, 2011, the City of New York settled an accident negligence claim by an eleven year old boy whose leg was run over by a Fire Department vehicle for $250,000.00. On August 25th 2006, in Far Rockaway, Queens a Fire Department vehicle negligently ran over the leg of an eleven year old who was tying his shoe at a gas station. Luckily, although the eleven year old suffered serious tissue injury, there we re no fractures and there was a full physical recovery. The infant Plaintiff suffered extensive soft tissue loss on part of his leg which was repaired by a skin graft surgery leaving considerable scaring. Attorney Todd D.
