Addabbo has been appointed to the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Second, Tenth and Eleventh Judicial Districts, to investigate the character and fitness of applicants in those districts for admission to practice as attorneys in the Courts of New York State. Applicants for admission to the bar must not only graduate law school and pass the written bar examination but must also be approved by a member of the Character and Fitness Committee prior to being admitted to practice law.
