Our Family Law practice provides legal counsel in the areas of divorce, custody, pre-nuptial agreements and post judgment enforcement and modification. Our objective is to thoroughly protect our clients' interests, while we assist them to make the best possible decisions - at times when emotions may cloud judgment. This practice is headed by Jill C. Stone [hyperlink to bio] an experienced attorney who concentrates in family and matrimonial law. As a graduate of the inaugural class of the City University of New York Law School at Queens College, a law school that focuses on practicing law and the service of human needs, Jill Stone is sensitive to all the emotional and psychological issues that develop in family and matrimonial cases. She is presently a member of the Law Guardian Panel in Nassau County and is a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness for the 2nd, 10th and 11th Judicial Districts, having been appointed by the Appellate Division, Second Department in 1996. Jill Stone has a special ability to understand the total impact of an event such as divorce and to assist the client to manage the emotional, the social and the financial ramifications.
