Jennifer Jimenez

Biography

Jennifer joined Addabbo & Greenberg in April 2017, shortly after graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She was born and raised in the Bronx and has a Dominican background. Ms. Jimenez is fluent in both English and Spanish. At our firm Jennifer is the direct point of contact. As soon as you walk in, she is there to greet and assist you. Jennifer has many duties such as providing customer service, maintaining attorneys’ calendars, signing up clients with Court mandated services, following their progress, drafting Pleadings, Motions, Demands and their filings with the Court. But also, if anyone has a technical problem Jennifer is there to assist.

Ms. Jimenez also worked for the NYC Administration for Children Services as a Child Protective Specialist. She investigated cases of Abuse/Neglect in the Bronx. Jennifer devoted herself for 3 years to protecting vulnerable children, assessing safety and risk, referring families for services such as preventive services, mental health services, parenting and anger management. Additionally, Ms. Jimenez filed Neglect and Abuse petitions with the Family Court and conducted removals due to children being harmed or at risk of being harmed.

In addition, Jennifer volunteered for the NYPD as an Auxiliary Officer. She patrolled the community, directed traffic during special events in New York City, participated in community meetings that taught the locals the current situation of their neighborhoods and encouraged adolescents to participate in community affairs.
